Dissolved Ozone Sensor Monitor
EZ-10W Measures dissolved ozone
in water samples. This is a portable analyzer,
battery operated instrument for taking water samples
only. A use 50-180 ML samples and it does not
come in contact with the water. It has many applications
in bottled water, swimming pools and spas, water
treatment systems, aquariums, food washing and
canning, wine making, cooling towers, research
and much more.
EZ-10W is used to measure dissolved
ozone in samples taken from the process water.
This new instrument is very popular because it
is low in cost and does not require consumable
reagent chemicals.
We recommend its use only for
water with low ozone demand however so that the
dissolved ozone concentration does not decrease
during the sampling process. Bottled water residual
and ozone in process water and wash water are
examples of good applications.
Waste water and water with bromine
compounds are not good applications.
EZ-10W Specifications
Ranges: .02-.14ppm (mg/l), .1-.7ppm (mg/l).
Accuracy: Within 20% at higher end of ranges when
operated near room temperature.
Response Time: About 10 seconds to 90% reading.
Full reading at 1 minute. Reading time is independent
of the half-life of the ozone in the water sample.
Measurement Principle: HMOS (heated metal oxide
semiconductor) sensor in headspace.
Interferences: None from salt or typical levels
of chlorine. Likely interferences from VOCs.
Size: 85 x 35 x 60mm (31/4 x 1 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches).

UV-100 OZONE ANALYZER
The Eco Sensors model UV-100
ozone analyzer is for general purpose measurement
of ozone in air. Its range is .002-100 ppm (v)
with 2% accuracy, and it includes a built-in data
logger. The UV-100 weighs only 2.1 kg (4.7 lb),
it is powered by an AC adapter or 12 V external
battery, and is equally versatile for the laboratory
or for process monitoring. The outputs are digital
display, 0-2.5VDC and 4-20mA. The instrument features
LEDs to indicate calibration is due, the sample
line filter should be replaced, and that the sampling
area is above the danger limit of .1 ppm. Recalibration
and annual maintenance is immediate simply by
a factory service rep exchanging the pre-calibrated
sensor module.

NOTE! 1. All Eco Sensors products
are designed and sold as sensors and monitors
for indoor use due to interference from atmospheric
gases and other reasons.
NOTE! 2. For refrigerated cooler
applications or sensing colder environments. The
sensor or switch would be mounted outside of the
cooler in a warmer environment. An aquarium air
compressor can be used to suck the air from the
colder environment thru 20 to 30 feet of coiled
tubing. This allows the air to warm up within
the indoor temperature range. At the end of the
tubing you would connect a tee with the branch
of the tee fitting connected to the sensor air
inlet, the outlet of the tee fitting would connect
to the air inlet of the mini compressor.
